Hi I’m Lesley, I provide manual driving lessons in the Dunfermline area of Fife and I am passionate about driving and road safety.
Some personal information about me.....
I moved to Dunfermline twenty seven years ago from Edinburgh, love living here and enjoy the history of Dunfermline. I am married to a former Detective Sergeant in the police who worked all over Fife. My family consists of my husband Donald, my son Ellis and our three spoiled pedigree cats Dixie, Lulu and Bailey.
In a previous job I was a Primary School teacher and enjoyed teaching all ages of Primary school children, and I have lots of experience of working with young people who have special needs. For a few years I was also a hypnotherapist who worked with adults and children and helped them with anxiety, phobias etc. I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with a real sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. After Ellis passed his driving test with me I knew this was the right career move for me. I love seeing my pupils’ progress and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time.
I am a very calm and relaxed person, and in the past had many unfortunate experiences with my own previous driving instructors which made me very anxious. I understand how important it is to find the right driving instructor who will help you to feel relaxed, happy, confident and in control.
I am fortunate to be training with LDC using the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LD system allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I aim to make every lessons enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD system just helps me to do this more effectively.
